In the Republic of Panama, through Law 24 of 1992, the activity of PRIVATE REFORESTATION was regulated for the first time, considering it as an Industry of National Interest, as well as establishing a series of incentives for investors of a tax or fiscal and migratory nature, this being an activity that requires a long-term investment, which motivated us in 1993 to create UNITED NATURE, INC., as a Panamanian forestry company that has been dedicated to the Development, Forestry and Sustainable Exploitation of Forest Tree Plantations Teak Timber (Tectona Grandis), under current legislation, with Forest Registry of the Ministry of Environment No.092-097 in extensions of land suitable for these crops, mainly in the Province of Darien, which has large extensions of land suitable and very fertile for planting teak trees. The company United Nature, Inc. has been producing Teak for 29 years and has extensive knowledge in the development of this crop, from its establishment to its final cut, with appropriate forestry practices and techniques to obtain the best results from this crop; currently and since 2010 it has FSC Forest Management Certification No. SGS-FM/COC-007760, Teak woods which it exports to international markets, as well as has ventured into Teak Processing to produce certain products, according to the needs of the market.
